Biographical summary
Chris Ha, D.O., is a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with subspecialty interests in Musculoskeletal and Regenerative Medicine. His clinical focus areas include:
- Non-surgical management of musculoskeletal conditions (knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, hand and wrist, foot and ankle)
- Regenerative medicine/orthobiologics including platelet-rich plasma and cell-based therapies
- Extracorporeal shockwave therapy (radial and focused) for musculoskeletal conditions
- Ultrasound-guided procedural interventions
- Lifestyle medicine and musculoskeletal health
Dr. Ha completed his undergraduate degree at Baylor University, followed by a medical degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center and residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He then completed a fellowship in Interventional Sports, Spine and Regenerative Medicine at the Bodor Clinic in Napa, CA under the direction of Dr. Marko Bodor. During medical school, he took an additional year to complete the Theology Medicine and Culture Fellowship at Duke Divinity School, where he devoted himself to work in medical humanities, bioethics, and the renewal of healthcare.
In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Ha is actively involved in musculoskeletal research, with a particular interest in orthobiologics and pioneering the use of artificial intelligence for precision musculoskeletal care. He also thoroughly enjoys providing mentorship and education to undergraduate pre-med students, medical students and residents and holds multiple roles in fostering and educating the next generation of physicians.
