Basel A. Sharaf, M.D., is a consultant plastic surgeon and practice chair of the Center for Aesthetic Medicine & Surgery at the Mayo Clinic. His areas of specialization include:

• Expertise in facial aesthetic surgery, such as face lift, neck lift, brow lift, fat grafting to replace volume loss, and eyelid lift (blepharoplasty)
• Expertise in breast surgery, such as breast reduction, breast lift, and breast augmentation with implants and fat grafting
• Expertise in body contouring procedures such as abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), breast lift, arm lift, liposuction
