Marcus Vinicius R. Pinto, M.D., is an adult neurologist with a specialty interest in neuromuscular and peripheral nerve disorders. His clinical focus includes:

  • Peripheral neuropathies including immune-mediated neuropathies and hematologic disorders associated neuropathies
  • Motor neuron diseases such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis
  • Myasthenia gravis and other neuromuscular junction disorders
  • Myopathies
  • The use of electromyography for the diagnosis of neuromuscular disorders

In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Pinto is actively involved in neuromuscular research and education of residents and fellows. His research focuses on clinical trials and improving patient outcomes/quality of life in immune-mediated neuropathies and amyloid neuropathies.
