Dr. McKenzie is Professor of Surgery and endocrine surgeon at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, specializing in minimally invasive surgical approaches to endocrine disease. His clinic focuses include:

Dr. McKenzie's approach to adrenal care is individualized to meet the needs of the patient, utilizing transabdominal laparoscopic, retroperitoneoscopic, and open surgery techniques. He performs minimally invasive enucleation or segmental resection of the pancreas for insulinoma and other functional tumors. Dr. McKenzie graduated with honors from Tufts University School of Medicine prior to completing residency in general surgery at Mayo Clinic. He then completed two consecutive fellowships in Endocrine Surgery and then Minimally Invasive Surgery, both at Harvard.
