Biographical summary
Dr. Barry Narapareddy completed his intern year at University of Maryland Midtown Campus, where he was named the Transitional Intern of the Year. He completed his psychiatry residency training at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He then pursued further training and expertise through completing a fellowship in Behavioral Neurology & Neuropsychiatry also at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
An active clinician, researcher, and educator, Dr. Narapareddy's clinical interests include Traumatic Brain Injury and Neurodegenerative disorders. He is an adjunct assistant professor at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Through this appointment, he continues to actively engage in research focused on Brain Health in professional fighters. Dr. Narapareddy is highly engaged in clinical education and works closely with medical students and residents. He was presented with the Golden Lamp Teaching Award twice at the Institute of Living in Hartford, CT.
