Biographical summary
Kevin T. Behm, M.D., is a board certified general surgeon and colon and rectal surgeon, with specialty interest in robotic colon and rectal surgery.
His clinical focus includes:
- Expertise in minimally invasive surgery including both robotic, laparoscopic, and transanal techniques
- Promoting each patient's understanding of their disease, the role for surgery, and helping them understand the journey we will share together
- Providing and coordinating multidisciplinary specialty care for complex abdominal/pelvic surgeries
- Exploring new surgical techniques combined with surgical innovation to improve patient outcomes and decrease recovery times
- Providing truly patient centered care. Dr. Behm strives to be there for each of his patients in their own unique and individualized way. This may come in the form of an ear to listen with, a shoulder to cry on, added strength to get them through their difficult journey, or a calm and clear plan for them to understand.
In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Behm is active in research and education, providing mentorship to residents and fellows.
