Biographical summary
Paul Hampel, M.D., is a board-certified hematologist and oncologist specializing in lymphoproliferative diseases, including chronic lymphocytic leukemia, non-Hodgkin and Hodgkin lymphoma, hairy cell leukemia, and T-cell prolymphocytic leukemia.
Dr. Hampel has strong clinical and research interests in improving outcomes for patients with CLL and other lymphoproliferative diseases through a better understanding of resistance mechanisms to targeted therapeutics and optimal sequencing of treatment. He is involved in clinical research, including clinical trials and real-world outcomes research. As a member the laboratory of Dr. Esteban Braggio, Ph.D., Dr. Hampel is also collaboratively engaged in basic science research investigating the clonal heterogeneity and evolution of disease in patients with CLL.
