Biographical summary
Ashley L. Garrett, M.D., is a board-certified pulmonologist and sleep medicine physician with expertise in a variety of pulmonary and sleep disorders. She is also an assistant professor at the Mayo Clinic School of Medicine.
Dr. Garrett attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch. She did internal medicine residency, chief medical residency, and a pulmonary medicine fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. This was followed by a sleep medicine fellowship at the University of Utah.
Dr. Garrett's clinical practice includes the evaluation and treatment of patients with lung disease and sleep conditions including airway disease, COPD, unexplained shortness of breath, pulmonary nodules, lung cancer, sleep apnea, hypoventilation and many other conditions. She is the Pulmonary course director for the Mayo Clinic School of Medicine. Dr. Garrett is also participating in multiple research projects including clinical trials and independent projects.
