Her clinical focus includes:

  • Expertise in the management of esophageal disorders including achalasia, GERD, and eosinophilic esophagitis
  • Translating her research on the underlying mechanisms and management of opioid-induced esophageal dysfunction (OIED) into quality care and education for her patients with this disorder
  • Providing highly effective education to her patients so they may have a greater understanding of their health condition, and to empower them to be partners in managing their health
