Biographical summary
Dr. Amy L. Rutt is an Otolaryngologist with subspecialty training in Laryngeal Surgery and Voice Disorders. Leading the Jacksonville Mayo Clinic Voice Center, Dr. Rutt understands that the needs of the patient come first and provides personalized care to every patient. Dr Rutt trained under Dr. Robert Sataloff, one of the pioneers in laryngeal surgery and professional voice care. Dr Rutt is active in multiple research endeavors and education. She actively collaborates with the center for regenerative medicine.
Her clinical focus includes:
- Comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for professional and non-professional voice users in close coordination with speech and language pathologists and singing voice specialists
- In-office vocal fold procedures
- Minimally invasive laser surgery for early vocal fold cancers and vocal fold dysplasia
- State-of-the-art surgical treatment for benign voice and airway disorders
