Holly L. Burkhartzmeyer, M.A.N., R.N., is a nursing education specialist within Mayo Clinic International. In her role, she provides education support to Mayo Clinic Healthcare, located in London, as well as education support within various global nursing initiatives.
Since joining Mayo Clinic in 2006, Ms. Burkhartzmeyer has held various roles including registered nurse on an inpatient pediatric unit and pediatric infusion therapy center. Within her current nursing education role, Ms. Burkhartzmeyer also supports international nurse visitors who travel to Mayo Clinic to observe and learn within clinical settings. Additionally, she is involved in and leads equity, inclusion and diversity initiatives.
Ms. Burkhartzmeyer earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from The University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa, and a Master of Arts in transcultural nursing from Augsburg University in Minneapolis. She holds an academic rank of assistant professor of nursing in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. Ms. Burkhartzmeyer is Silver Quality certified through Mayo Clinic’s quality academy.
