Payam Entezami, M.D., M.S., is a Head and Neck Surgeon in the Department of Otolaryngology — Head & Neck Surgeon at Mayo Clinic Arizona.
Raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan he received his MD and MS degrees at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and completed ENT residency at Ochsner LSU Health in Shreveport, Louisiana. He then completed an Advanced Head and Neck Microvascular and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship here at the Mayo Clinic Arizona.
His clinical focus is centered around the management of benign and malignant tumors of the head and neck. Dr. Entezami employs a multi-disciplinary approach to the care of his patients with a focus on patient-centered and evidence-based care.
He has a passion for reconstructive surgery (including microvascular flap reconstruction), and minimally-invasive transoral surgery (TORS) with the use of the DaVinci surgical robot. Additionally, has a strong interest in endocrine surgery of the neck involving the thyroid and parathyroids.
