Vlad C. Vasile, M.D., Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Laboratory Medicine, a board certified cardiologist and Co-Director of the Cardiovascular Laboratory Medicine. He has an interest in Preventive Cardiology and cardiovascular biomarkers. He has expertise in cardiovascular disease prevention and risk factor management. He provides patient care in the Cardiovascular Health Clinic, Statin Intolerance Clinic and Familial Hypercholesterolemia Clinic. He has a particular focus on cardiovascular biomarkers and lipids, as well as developing novel biomarkers of cardiovascular risk.
