Biographical summary
Todd Rozen, M.D., is a neurologist at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida who treats chronic daily headache, cluster headache, headache, hemicrania and migraine. In addition, Dr. Rozen is interested in cluster headache, new daily persistent headache, migraine (episodic and chronic), trigeminal autonomic cephalalgias, chronic daily headache, hemicrania continua, prolonged auras, SUNCT syndrome (short-lasting unilateral neuralgiform headache with conjunctival injection and tearing), post-procedure headache and cervicogenic headache.
He completed medical school at the State University of New York Health Science Center in Brooklyn, New York and his neurology residency training at Mayo Clinic Hospital — Rochester. He subsequently completed a headache fellowship at the Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and was an attending neurologist at the Jefferson Headache Center/Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Rozen was also the Director of Headache Research at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and has worked at the Michigan Head-Pain and Neurological Institute where he served as Director of Outpatient Services. Dr. Rozen also served as the Director of the Geisinger Headache Center in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Rozen has won the "Best Doctors in America Award" multiple times. He has written more than 100 articles about headache and has co-authored two books. Dr. Rozen was the 2006 winner of the American Academy of Neurology: Harold Wolff-John Graham Award for his headache research, and has lectured on the subject of headache in the United States and abroad.
