Biographical summary
Callie Davies, M.D., C.A.Q.S.M., is an emergency medicine trained, non operative sports medicine physician who focuses on ultrasound guided procedures, sports injuries, non-surgical fracture management, and osteoarthritis. She specializes in the whole care of the active individual and enjoys helping athletes of all ages and abilities get back to the activity the love. She is an expert in the diagnosis, management, and non operative treatment of acute or chronic injuries of the musculoskeletal system.
Dr. Davies graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Physiology and a minor in Spanish before pursuing her medical degree at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. During medical school she received the Rural Health Profession Program scholarship which funded her to learn and train in rural, underserved locations across the state. Upon graduating, she received a distinction in Rural Health and a distinction in Community Service. During her training she received the Douglas Lindsey Excellence in Emergency Medicine Award. During this time she also completed wilderness medicine training through Tuffs University. She then completed an emergency medicine residency at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona followed by a sports medicine fellowship through the University of Arizona at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix where she was the team physician for Grand Canyon University. Since that time, she has been a team physician for Park University, Benedictine University, Arizona Christian University. She has also helped out as a consulting event physician for AT Direct Sports Medicine, Canyon Athletic Association, as well as volunteered as medical for numerous athletic events including pre-participation physicals, triathlons, marathons, and various side line coverage, including Fiesta bowl 2022. Dr. Davies is dual board certified in Emergency Medicine and Sports Medicine. She is currently one of the team physicians for Arizona State University helping take care of over 700 student athletes.
