A Study to Evaluate Vascularized Lymph Node Transfer Coverage Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to investigate outcomes for all patients with upper or lower extremity lymphedema with lymph node transfer in a two stage procedure involving dermal regeneration followed by split thickness skin graft (STSG) and compared to patients only receiving STSG for wound coverage. A Study to Create a Registry of Non-Fusion Spinal Deformity Correction in Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis Rochester, Minn., Minneapolis, Minn. The primary purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of non-fusion surgical treatment of Spinal Deformity Correction in Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis. The Post Approval Study (PAS) is gathering data on the Tether device and it's efficacy and safety. A Study to Evaluate Manipulation Under Anesthesia After Bilateral Primary Total Knee Arthroplasty Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to determine unique genetic profile of patients requiring MUA following bilateral pTKA via genetic sequencing, to determine outcomes of patients receiving MUA in terms of KSS, implant durability, survival free of reoperation, and to define characteristics and comorbidities of patients undergoing unilateral and bilateral MUA. A Study to Assess Medtronic Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) Therapy for Epilepsy Post-Approval (EPAS) Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this post-approval study is to further evaluate the long-term safety and effectiveness of Medtronic DBS therapy for epilepsy on seizure reduction in newly implanted participants through 3 years of follow-up in different geographic populations. A Study to Evaluate Awake vs. Asleep Spine Surgery Jacksonville, Fla. Patients undergoing spine lumbar surgery will be asked to perform short exams/questionnaires aimed at determining cognitive function, quality of life, health outcomes twice post surgery with a baseline performance prior to surgery. MElanoma Research Lymph node prediction Implementation National_001 (MERLIN_001) Rochester, Minn. This study aims to create a registry for primary melanoma gene-signature to predict sentinel node (SN) status and determine its prognostic value for more accurate staging of SN-negative melanoma patients. A Vaccine (H2NVAC) Before Surgery for the Treatment of HER2-Expressing Ductal Carcinoma In Situ Rochester, Minn., Jacksonville, Fla. This phase Ib trial studies the side effects and best dose of a vaccine called H2NVAC before surgery in treating patients with HER2 expressing ductal carcinoma in situ. H2NVAC is a vaccine designed to stimulate specialized white blood cells in hopes of increasing immune response and protecting against breast cancer. A Study to Assess the Effect of Radial Deviation on the Pronated Grip Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to describe a practical and reproducible radiographic view that can be used in the work-up of ulnocarpal impaction. Outcome of Capsular Release for Elbow Contracture Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to assess the outcome and complications of capsular release for elbow contractures. Stem Cell Coated Fistula Plug in Patients With Crohn's RVF Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to determine the safety of using an autologous mesenchymal stromal cell (MSC) coated fistula plug in people with rectovaginal fistulizing Crohn's disease. Autologous means that these cells that coat the plug come from you. You will be in this study for two years. There is potential to continue to monitor your progress with lifelong regular visits as part of your standard of care. All study visits take place at Mayo Clinic and Rochester, MN. The study visit schedule is as follows: Visit 1 (Week -6) - Screening visit: exam under anesthesia and surgery to assess eligibility of fistula tract, take fat biopsy, if eligible, and fecal diversion. Visit 2 (Week 0; Day 0), exam under anesthesia for stem cell coated fistula plug placement Visit 3 (Week 0; Day 1) Visit 4 (Week 2; Month 1) Visit 5 (Week 4; Month 1) Visit 6 (Week 8; Month 2) Visit 7 (Week 12; Month 3) Visit 8 (Week 24; Month 6) Visit 9 (Week 52; Month 12). A Study to Evaluate Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy to Treat Patients with Pancreatic Cancer and Peritoneal Metastasis Rochester, Minn. The primary purpose of this study is to assess short-term morbidity and disease-free survival outcomes for patients with pancreatic adenocarcinoma with limited low volume peritoneal metastasis or positive peritoneal cytology undergoing hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy.
