Biographical summary
Jenny Yang, M.D., specializes in craniofacial surgery, a distinct field of plastic surgery that focuses on reshaping and enhancing the structures of the face and skull using reconstructive and aesthetic surgery techniques.
Dr. Yang earned her medical degree at Yale University. She went on to complete her Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at Yale, where she was fully trained in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery from head to toe, including breast reconstruction.
Dr. Yang then pursued further advanced specialty training in Craniofacial Plastic Surgery at Stanford University. She chose to focus on this field to help individuals with congenital, developmental, and acquired facial differences feel better about themselves.
Dr. Yang enjoys working with all people in need of craniofacial services, including those with cosmetic and functional concerns affecting the nose, facial asymmetry, congenital conditions such as cleft lip and palate, Treacher Collins syndrome, and craniosynostosis, jaw malocclusion, facial changes due to aging, facial cosmetic concerns, disfigurement due to cancer treatment, as well patients who've had
injuries resulting from trauma such as boating or motor vehicle accidents.
Her practice includes designing a unique treatment plan for each individual with two goals in mind: to improve or restore function, and to provide each patient with the best possible aesthetic appearance.
Dr. Yang specializes in rhinoplasty, jaw surgery, surgery for facial asymmetries, cleft lip and palate repair, complex facial reconstruction, and cranial reconstruction.
Fueling these efforts, she is actively engaged in outcomes research in craniofacial surgery, aiming to improve the standard of care in her field and the quality of life for her patients.
