Alan Sugrue, M.B., B.Ch., is a cardiac electrophysiologist. He was born in rainy Ireland but grew up in sunny Australia. He obtained his medical degree from National University of Ireland, Galway and Masters degree from the University of College London. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and Cardiovascular Diseases fellowship training at Mayo Clinic, Rochester. He went on to obtain his Cardiac Electrophysiology certification from the University of Pennsylvania. He has interest in ablation (atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, PVCs) as well as device implantation and extraction.
