Biographical summary
Chunjoo (Justin) Park, Ph.D., is a board-certified medical physicist with expertise in image reconstruction and adaptive radiation therapy.
Dr. Park received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of California, San Diego where he also actively involved research program in the radiation oncology department. He obtained training in Therapeutic Medical Physics Program at University of Florida in 2016. After his training, he was appointed as an Assistant professor in the department of radiation oncology at Washington
University in St. Louis. During his appointment, Dr. Park was actively involved in constructing the World's first MRI-Linac based-adaptive radiation therapy program. He then joined UT Southwestern (UTSW) Medical Center in May 2020, as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Medical Physics and Engineering where he was appointed as the director of adaptive therapy leading the largest adaptive radiotherapy program in the nation. Dr. Park joined Mayo Clinic Florida in May 2022 to setup and design world's first heavy ion based adaptive radiation therapy program.
