Sandeep R. Pagali, M.D., M.P.H.

Sandeep Pagali, M.D., M.P.H, is a geriatrician and hospitalist with a focus on hospitalized older adult care. His clinical expertise includes:

• Managing medically complex older adults with delirium and cognitive impairment
• Geriatric consultation for hospitalized older adults
• Advocating for patient centered care, considering patient goals
• Multi-disciplinary care collaboration to facilitate optimal care transitions
• Medical triage and resource optimization

Dr. Pagali is actively involved in education of medical students, residents, and clinical fellows on a regular basis. Dr. Pagali's research is focused on delirium prediction and management in acute care settings, non-pharmacological interventions for reducing cognitive decline, and de-prescribing. Dr. Pagali also worked extensively on process optimization related to delirium and medical triage in acute care setting.
