Biographical summary
Vamshi K. Mugu, M.D., M.S., is a board-certified radiologist who specializes in hospital, emergency, and abdominal imaging. He also performs image guided procedures using Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, and CT guidance. His current research focuses on employing artificial intelligence in the healthcare setting in teaching and to improve diagnostic and procedural outcomes.
Dr. Mugu holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from North Dakota State University and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of North Dakota. He completed his internship in Surgery, residency in Diagnostic Radiology, and fellowship in Body Imaging and Intervention at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
