Jennifer L. Leiting, M.D.

Jennifer L. Leiting, M.D., is a hepatobiliary and pancreas surgeon with a special interest in minimally invasive surgery for pancreatic and hepatobiliary conditions.

Her clinical interests include:

• Management of hepatobiliary, pancreatic, and gastrointestinal oncologic malignancies
• Minimally invasive approaches for complex hepatobiliary and pancreatic conditions
• Molecular staging of pancreas cancer using circulating tumor DNA

Dr. Leiting earned her medical degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN. She completed General Surgery Residency at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Rochester, MN, that was combined with an additional 2-years as a Clinical Investigator. She then completed a Hepatobiliary and Pancreas Surgery Fellowship at Mayo Clinic. For additional exposure and training, Dr. Leiting traveled as a Mayo Clinic Scholar to leading Minimally Invasive Surgery centers both nationally and internationally.
