Akriti Khanna, M.D.

Akriti Khanna, M.D., is a board-certified Diagnostic Radiologist in the Department of Radiology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Khanna graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha Honors from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. She completed her Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Cleveland Clinic and graduated with several distinguished honors, including Resident Educator of the Year, Emergency Department Resident of the year, and multiple teaching awards. Dr. Khanna completed two separate specialized fellowships to further hone her expertise in Musculoskeletal Imaging as well as Breast Imaging and Intervention at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. For her Breast Imaging and Intervention fellowship, she was awarded the prestigious Mayo Clinic Foundation Scholar Award.

Dr. Khanna is a Senior Associate Consultant specializing both in musculoskeletal imaging and breast imaging and intervention. In her practice, she performs the full array of breast imaging procedures and reads all breast and musculoskeletal diagnostic imaging studies. She enjoys resident education and mentoring trainees.

She is a member of the Society of Skeletal Radiologists, Society of Breast Imaging, American College of Radiologists, and American Roentgen Ray Society and serves on committees within these organizations. Dr. Khanna completed the competitive Amis Fellowship in Quality and Patient Safety through the American College of Radiology.
