Zeying Du, M.D., Ph.D., FACHI, is the Associate Director of Histocompatibility Laboratory at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. She received her MD, MS and PhD in China and was a post-doctoral researcher in immunogenetics and transplant Immunology at UCLA Immunogenetics Center, UCLA and completed her director-in-training fellowship on Transplant Immunology and Immunogenetics at University of Chicago. Dr. Du served as the Director of Clinical Histocompatibility Laboratory and Assistant/Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Loyola University Medical Center, Illinois. Her clinical and research interests are identifying pre-and post-transplant biomarkers of immunological risk to increase access and survival to solid organ transplant patients and to use genetic markers for hematopoietic cell transplant donor selection to reduce incidence and severity of graft-versus-host disease and to increase patient survival.
