Biographical summary
Dr. Anna DePompolo joined the Department of Emergency Medicine at Mayo Clinic Rochester in 2025. She is board-certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Dr. DePompolo attended medical school at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She went on to complete pediatric residency training through the University of Minnesota. During residency training she became interested in providing care to the critically sick and injured child. In 2015 she completed fellowship training in Pediatric Emergency Medicine through Children's Hospitals of Minnesota.
In addition to her clinical practice of pediatric emergency medicine, Dr. DePompolo has additional interests in disaster preparedness medicine, pediatric readiness and pre-hospital care of the pediatric patient. She has participated in state and regional activities associated to her clinical interests and has served as medical director for Emergency Medical Services for Children Minnesota.
