Aadel A. Chaudhuri, M.D., Ph.D., is a board-certified radiation oncologist and an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology with a primary focus on thoracic malignancies.

Dr. Chaudhuri attended medical school at Stanford University, and further obtained a PhD at the California Institute of Technology. He completed his residency at Stanford University, where he also served as Chief Resident. Subsequently, he spent nearly six years as an Attending Physician and physician-scientist at the Washington University in St. Louis before joining the Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Chaudhuri strives to deliver superb care to his patients using advanced technologies including intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), and proton beam radiotherapy. He is also dedicated to integrating precision medicine into clinical care, and has conducted significant research studies using advanced circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) liquid biopsy technologies. Overall, Dr. Chaudhuri combines his clinical expertise with cutting-edge translational research and technology, along with a patient-centered approach, to advance radiation oncology practice.
