Dr. Melissa Bogin is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Senior Associate Consultant in the Mayo Clinic Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Community Internal Medicine, Geriatrics and Palliative Care. She completed her medical degree at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago and Internal Medicine Residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Dr. Bogin is passionate about medical education, serving as a Chief Medical Resident after completion of her residency program. She serves as the rotation director for Quality Improvement for the Mayo Clinic Internal Medicine Residency and the Core Curriculum director for the Mayo Clinic Geriatric Medicine Fellowship.
Dr. Bogin is interested in the spectrum of care for older adults, and she practices clinically in the hospital, nursing home and ambulatory care settings.
