Dr. Agarwal is a board-certified pathologist with expertise in Head and neck pathology, and Cytopathology. She completed an Anatomic Pathology (AP) residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center, followed by a subspecialty surgical pathology fellowship/ instructorship in "Head and Neck pathology" at Massachusetts General Hospital/ Harvard Medical School and a Cytopathology fellowship at University of California Medical Center San Francisco.

Dr. Agarwal's clinical focus is on diagnosis of head and neck related cancers such as salivary gland, thyroid, oral cavity and sinonasal cancers. Her research interests focus on investigating cancers of salivary gland, oral dysplasia and squamous cell carcinoma, and thyroid neoplasms.
