Biographical summary
Mithun Shah, M.D., Ph.D., is an assistant professor of medicine and oncology, and consultant in the Division of Hematology. He has received several honors and awards for his research and clinical work, including the 2014 Merit Award from the Conquer Cancer Foundation of ASCO, the Paul Calabresi Program in Clinical-Translational Research at Mayo Clinic Cancer Center K12 Career Development Award, and the New Investigator Award from the Leukemia Research Foundation.
He has published more than 80 peer-reviewed articles in prestigious journals, such as Blood, JCO, and Haematologica, and has served as a reviewer for several journals and funding agencies. His research interests include therapy-related myeloid neoplasms, histiocytic disorders, and molecular and genomic predictors of outcomes in acute myeloid leukemia and stem cell transplantation.
