Biographical summary
Nick Canzanello, D.O., is a fellowship-trained interventional pain medicine physician. Dr. Canzanello strives to provide compassionate care to patients suffering from chronic pain. He practices evidence-based medicine and applies individualized, patient-centered treatments with the latest medical innovations and research. Dr. Canzanello's clinical focus includes:
- Expertise in treating chronic spine and nerve pain with the newest technologies in neuromodulation (spinal cord stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation and intrathecal targeted drug delivery).
- Comprehensive evaluation and management of chronic spine, nerve, musculoskeletal and cancer-related pain.
- Improving the quality of life and functional ability of patients.
- Application of ultrasound in pain medicine.
In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Canzanello is passionate about medical education and research. He has contributed to numerous publications and book chapters with the goal of reducing the burden of chronic debilitating pain on our population.
Outside of work, Dr. Canzanello enjoys spending time with his wife and family. His hobbies include skiing, hiking, traveling and hockey.
