Biographical summary
Kebede Begna, M.D., completed his clinical fellowship in hematology/oncology and bone marrow transplantation, as well as obtained a MS degree in clinical research from the University of Minnesota. He is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has certification from the Mayo Clinic Quality Academy. He has received several honors and awards, including the Fellow Recognition Award from the National Comprehensive Cancer Network and the Dean's List from Gondar College of Medical Sciences. He has been involved in community and professional memberships and services, such as the Ethio-American Doctors Group and the American Society of Hematology.
Dr. Begna has participated in numerous research grants, as a program director or principal investigator, and has authored or co-authored over 80 peer-reviewed articles on various topics related to hematology and oncology.
