The purpose of this study is to examine how well ascorbic acid and combination chemotherapy work in treating patients with lymphoma that has come back or does not respond to therapy. Ascorbic acid may make cancer cells more sensitive to chemotherapy. Drugs used in chemotherapy, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading.
