Biographical summary
Lifeng Yu is a professor of medical physics at Mayo Clinic and a diagnostic physicist certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). He received his BS degree in nuclear physics in 1997 and his MEng degree in nuclear technology in 2000, both from Beijing University, and his PhD in medical physics from the University of Chicago in 2006. His areas of focus include CT physics, image quality assessment, radiation dose, and multi-energy CT. He is a fellow of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) and the International society for optics and photonics (SPIE).
