Biographical summary
Meera Sridharan, M.D., Ph.D., is a hematologist and oncologist who works as an assistant professor and consultant at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. She has a MD/PhD degree from Saint Louis University and completed her residency and fellowship training in internal medicine, hematology, oncology, and special coagulation at Mayo Clinic. She is board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology, and has certification in quality improvement from Mayo Clinic Quality Academy.
Dr. Sridharan has received several honors and awards for her research, which focuses on thrombotic microangiopathies, complement disorders, and coagulation testing. She has published more than 40 peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and abstracts, and has been involved in curriculum and course development for medical education.

My clinical and research interests include thrombotic microangiopathies and I have helped to develop guidelines for treatment of thrombotic microangiopathies as a member of the CAP-TMA group at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN.
I also have clinical and research interests in coagulation factor deficiencies (acquired and congenital), immune thrombocytopenia and autoimmune hemolytic anemia.
