Biographical summary
Martina Mookadam M.D., M.S., FAAFP, is a Family Medicine Physician with special interests in population health and managing and preventing chronic diseases, ultrasound guided musculoskeletal procedures, culinary medicine, and education. She completed a Master of Biomedical Sciences and Molecular Biology Degree at Mayo Graduate School in Rochester, MN and graduated from McMaster University Medical School in Canada in 2003. She then completed her residency in Family Medicine at Mayo Clinic Arizona. She has been the primary investigator in several research studies and has published on a variety of topics including obstructive sleep apnea, metabolic syndrome and care of the cardiovascular patient. Dr. Mookadam is a block leader of the Basic Doctoring course at the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine and an instructor at Arizona State University. She is also a fellow of the Academy of Educational Excellence.
She is Board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is currently Associate Professor and Consultant in the Department of Family Medicine.
