Joseph F. Maalouf, M.D., is a cardiologist with special interest in echocardiography, multimodality imaging and structural heart diseases, including valvular heart disease for his clinical practice, research and education. His clinical focus includes:

  • Echocardiography for reliable diagnosis and management of all CV diseases using transthoracic, transesophageal (2-D, 3-D) and stress (for ischemia, valvular heart disease and diastolic dysfunction) echocardiography
  • Evaluation and management of patients with valvular heart diseases
  • Coordinating care of patients undergoing complex valvular disease interventions, including transcatheter aortic valve replacement and mitral clip procedures

He is the director of the Interventional Echocardiography Imaging Service, which is involved in guiding all structural heart disease intervention.
