Kellie K. Kruger, M.D.

Dr. Kruger joined Mayo Clinic Primary Care — San Tan in June 2018. She completed her undergraduate degree at Princeton University and her medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine. She completed a combined Internal Medicine — Pediatrics (med-peds) residency at the University of California, Los Angeles and an additional year as chief resident in Internal Medicine at UCLA.

Prior to joining Mayo Clinic Dr. Kruger held faculty appointments at UCLA in primary care and practiced outpatient medicine and pediatrics, caring for adults and children of all ages. She also served as preceptor for medical students and residents at UCLA. She later moved to Pennsylvania, where she practiced in a Women's Internal medicine group just outside Philadelphia, before eventually relocating with her family to Phoenix.

Dr. Kruger is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and enjoys caring for patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics. Her special interests include medical education, caring for children and adults with complex medical conditions, and helping children with complex medical needs transition to adult medical care.

Dr. Kruger's personal interests include classical music, hiking, and spending time with her husband and their five children.
