Biographical summary
Benjamin R. Kipp, Ph.D., is a board-certified Molecular Geneticist with expertise in clinical laboratory testing and interpretation. He is currently Division Chair of Laboratory Genetics and Genomics at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. He is also a Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic School of Medicine.
Dr. Kipp received his fellowship training in Clinical Molecular Genetics at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, Rochester, MN.
Dr. Kipps clinical focus is on the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and hereditary genetic disorders. The research interests of Dr. Kipp include the development of molecular genetic assays for the diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of solid tumors; clinical next-generation sequencing (NGS) technology for hereditary and somatic diseases; and molecular cytology and circulating tumor assays for diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of multiple cancer types.
