Musab Hommos, M.B.B.S., is a board-certified nephrologist and hypertension specialist. He is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine & Science and the Program Director for the Nephrology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic Arizona.
Dr. Hommos attended medical school at University of Jordan. He completed his training in Internal Medicine at University of Iowa and subspecialty training in Nephrology and Hypertension at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He holds a master's degree in medical education, and he is a certified hypertension specialist by the American Hypertension Specialist Certification Program.
Dr. Hommos's clinical practice focuses on the treatment of patients with complex hypertension disorders, polycystic kidney disease, and chronic kidney disease. His interests include medical education, and he is involved in the education of medical students, residents and fellows at Mayo Clinic Arizona. His research interests include mechanisms and epidemiology of resistant hypertension and care delivery for patients with hypertension and kidney disease.
