Mehrdad Hefazi Torghabeh, M.D.

Mehrdad Hefazi Torghabeh, M.D., a hematologist and oncologist at Mayo Clinic. He obtained his medical degree from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences and completed his residency and fellowship training in internal medicine, hematology and oncology at Mayo Clinic. He is certified by the Mayo Clinic Quality Academy and licensed to practice medicine in Minnesota.

Dr. Hefazi Torghabeh has received several honors and awards, such as the Clinical Research Training Institute from the American Society of Hematology and the Mayo Clinic Scholar. He has been involved in quality initiatives, research grants and publications related to hematological malignancies, graft-versus-host disease, hematopoietic cell transplantation and chimeric antigen receptor T cell therapy.
