Biographical summary
Dr. Vahe Fahradyan is a plastic surgeon specializing in surgical treatment of lymphedema, breast reconstruction and gender affirmation surgery. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science and a Consultant in the Division of Plastic Surgery at Mayo Clinic.
His clinical expertise centers on the surgical treatment of lymphedema, including:

- Vascularized lymph node transfer
- Vascularized lymph vessel transfer
His research focuses on early diagnosis of lymphedema and innovative imaging techniques for lymphatic mapping.
Dr. Fahradyan received his medical degree from Yerevan State Medical University in Armenia, followed by a residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery. He pursued advanced fellowship training at world-renowned institutions, including Cleveland Clinic and Mount Sinai Hospital, focusing on microsurgery, craniofacial surgery, and gender-affirmation procedures.
