Biographical summary
Chancey Christenson M.D., MPH is board-certified in clinical pathology, transfusion medicine, and clinical informatics. He maintains a qualification in apheresis as well.
Dr. Christenson attended medical school and residency at Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. He subsequently obtained fellowship training in Transfusion medicine at the New York Blood Center, and a fellowship in Clinical Informatics at Geisinger Health system.
Dr. Christenson's clinical practice focuses on Apheresis procedures with a specialty in stem cell collection and solid organ transplant management. His research interests are in novel uses of Apheresis technology,
including investigation of the role of Apheresis in the management of Post-Actue Sequelae of Covid. He also oversees the HLA platelet program. Additionally his areas of interest include Epic Optimization and generative adversarial networks.
