Biographical summary
Rishitha Bollam, M.D., is a medical oncologist with a special focus on breast cancer and currently serves as a Senior Associate Consultant at Mayo Clinic in Florida. She earned her medical degree from Boston
University School of Medicine, completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Virginia, and pursued fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology at NYU Langone Health, where she also served as the Chief Fellow. Dr. Bollam is committed to advancing breast cancer care through impactful research and clinical innovation. Her work has included efforts to improve targeted therapies such as antibody-drug conjugates in HER2-low disease. She is also interested in breast cancer survivorship, with a focus on understanding the long-term cardiovascular and metabolic effects of endocrine therapy. In addition to her research and clinical work, Dr. Bollam is passionate about education and mentoring, with a dedication to supporting the growth and development of residents and fellows.
