Biographical summary
Mays Ali, M.D., is a non-invasive cardiologist with interests in diagnosing and treating structural heart disease, including hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and valvular heart disease. She received her medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency and chief residency at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. She completed her general cardiology fellowship and advanced echocardiography fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Her research interests include contrast echocardiography and safety of ultrasound enhancing agents. She is also passionate about medical education and serves as core faculty for the cardiology fellowship and the cardiovascular curriculum at the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine.
