Joline E. Brandenburg, M.D.

Joline Brandenburg, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in the area of Pediatric Physiatry. She has presented as an expert internationally and nationally for many years. She is an actively advancing the science in her department, and teaching regularly on the topics of:

  • cerebral palsy
  • spasticity and muscle stiffness in children
  • pediatric neuromuscular disorders
  • ultrasound elastography
  • Botulinum toxin injections
  • functional gait disorders

Dr. Brandenburg is an honored member of the PM&R faculty, having received recognition most recently from the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine, the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the Association of Academic Physiatrists. She in constantly mentoring residents and fellows, as well as participating in large-scale research projects.
