1. Collection of Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells from Normal Healthy Donors via Apheresis for use in Laboratory Development Studies

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this research protocol is to systematically investigate the optimal conditions for isolating and culturing (referred to as manufacturing) of mononuclear cells (MNCs) from healthy volunteers collected via apheresis.

2. Circulating Tumor Nucleic Acids to Monitor Treatment Response in Metastatic Melanoma Patients

   Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

   This project will investigate whether the analysis of nucleic acids circulating in the blood from tumors can allow real-time monitoring of treatment response to targeted therapy and immunotherapy for patients who have stage IV metastatic melanoma.

3. Allogeneic Mesenchymal Stromal Cell Donor Bank

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to collect adipose tissue from patients undergoing elective surgery, or from healthy volunteers, test the donors to assure that they comply with all regulatory aspects required of healthy donors, expand and test mesenchymal stromal cells (MSC), and bank them for future use.
