It is very important that your doctor check your or your child's progress at regular visits to make sure that this medicine is working properly and to check for unwanted effects.

This medicine may cause feeding tubes to not work as well or stop working over time. Only use feeding tubes made of silicone or polyurethane. Check the feeding tube before and after every use to make sure it is working properly.

This medicine may cause absorption problems when used in patients with pancreas problems (eg, pancreatic insufficiency), and may affect how this medicine works. Talk to your doctor if you have any concerns.

Do not take other medicines unless they have been discussed with your doctor. This includes prescription or non-prescription (over-the-counter [OTC]) medicines and herbal or vitamin supplements.
