Proper Use

Use this medicine only as directed by your doctor. Do not use more of it, do not use it more often, and do not use it for a longer time than your doctor ordered.

This medicine should come with a patient information leaflet and patient instructions. Read and follow these instructions carefully. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions.

This medicine is for use on the underarms only. Do not get it in your eyes or any other part of the body.

To use the gel:

• Wash your hands with soap and water before and after you use this medicine.
• Apply the medicine to clean, dry, intact skin on your underarm areas only.
• Do not shower or wash your underarms for at least 8 hours after applying this medicine. Do not apply to broken skin. Do not cover the treated area with a bandage unless your doctor has told you to.
• Do not apply this medicine if you have shaved or applied deodorant within the last 8 hours. Do not apply this medicine if you have exercised, showered, or washed your underarm within the last 30 minutes.
• Do not allow your clothes to touch your underarm for 5 minutes after applying it. Do not touch your underarms after applying the medicine.
• This medicine is flammable. Do not smoke or go near an open flame until the gel is dry.

Dosing

The dose of this medicine will be different for different patients. Follow your doctor's orders or the directions on the label. The following information includes only the average doses of this medicine. If your dose is different, do not change it unless your doctor tells you to do so.

The amount of medicine that you take depends on the strength of the medicine. Also, the number of doses you take each day, the time allowed between doses, and the length of time you take the medicine depend on the medical problem for which you are using the medicine.

• For topical dosage form (gel):
  • For excessive sweating of the underarms:
    • Adults and children 9 years of age and older—Apply to both underarm areas using 1 pump for each underarm once a day at bedtime.
    • Children younger than 9 years of age—Use and dose must be determined by your doctor.

Missed Dose

If you miss a dose of this medicine, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule.

Storage

Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light. Keep from freezing.

Keep out of the reach of children.

Do not keep outdated medicine or medicine no longer needed.

Ask your healthcare professional how you should dispose of any medicine you do not use.
