Welcome to Mayo Clinic. Our goal is to keep you informed and engaged with your care during your hospital stay. We invite you to use the Bedside feature inside the Mayo Clinic Patient Portal app.
You can use the Bedside feature to access up-to-date health information, such as test results or your daily schedule. You can complete questionnaires and review educational materials on your smartphone as well. Your healthcare team is always available to answer any questions you may have.
To access Bedside, log in on your mobile device or Bedside tablet. Locate the Bedside feature by tapping the banner, “While you’re here for care.” After your first Bedside visit, the banner changes to “Switch to Bedside.”
Who can use the Bedside feature?
Anyone with a Mayo Clinic Patient Portal account can use the Bedside feature during a hospital stay. However, you must access this feature through the Mayo Clinic Patient Portal app on a mobile device. If you don't have a smartphone, ask your healthcare team for instructions to access information about your care.
The Bedside feature is available only in the mobile version of the Mayo Clinic Patient Portal. More information about the portal app and where to download it is available here.
