当您发生阴道感染或阴道炎症时，发生性行为可能会引起不适，并可能加重您的症状。如果您的感染源是性传播疾病，您也可能将感染传播给您的伴侣。如果医生确诊您是慢性酵母菌感染（念珠菌病），只要您感觉舒适，就可以进行性行为而无须担心加重症状。

阴道感染最常见的原因包括：

  • 酵母菌感染（念珠菌病）
  • 细菌性阴道炎
  • 滴虫病

酵母菌感染和细菌性阴道炎不会产生性传播感染，但有新的性伴侣会增加患细菌性阴道炎的风险。

而滴虫病会产生性传播感染。为防止可能的再感染，请等您和您的伴侣完成治疗且你们不再出现症状后再进行性行为。
